才能も、
チャーミングなルックスも、
透明な声も、
ハンサムなボーイフレンドも、
彼女は何もかも持っているはずなのに、
その歌は何となく切ない。
いつか、ぼくも何か一緒に作ってみたいです。

"it isn't anything but," it is "the girl with everything"... These words spring to mind. Talented, charming looks, a beautiful voice, a handsome boyfriend... She supposedly has everything but I can't somehow "cut" that song! Someday I'd like to create something with her.

2月23日に発売になる、SHOKOの初の音楽作品集「When the sun will rise」。パッケージは特別BOX仕様となり、アートディレクション及び全てのアートワークをSHOKOが担当し、CD音源と通じ合うヴィジュアルで、オリジナルの世界感を箱いっぱいに表現しました。

そしてこの度、その作品の原画をメインとして、描きおろしのドローイング20点以上の作品展示を、2月24日〜3月3日の間、原宿VACANTにて開催致します！ ( 2月28日定休日 )
モノクロのアンニュイな世界、「When the sun will rise」特別インスタレーションを、是非ご覧下さい。

期間：【EXHIBITION Ⅰ】2011年2月24日(木）〜3月3日(木）13:00〜20:00
　　　【EXHIBITION Ⅱ】2011年3月4日(金）〜3月27日(日）13:00〜18:00（Small exhibition）※開催期間、営業時間に変更がありました。

この度、私の初めての音楽作品集「When the sun will rise」を発表することになりました。
パッケージされたCD音源とアートワークはもちろんコミュニケートしていて、モノクロの世界、それも、光の見える静寂、を、私なりに表現しました。
すべてのパッケージが出来上がってみて思うことは、私の音楽は、私の絵とイコールであること。つまり、どんな手段をとっても、「私自身の表現」であること。だから、私の音楽を手に取って下さる方には、絵を鑑賞する時の気持ちで、全体を通して感じて頂けたらと願うのです。そして、絵も、音楽のように、感じて頂けたら。
今回、こちらの原画を含む20点以上の作品を、オープン当時から注目していたVACANTで発表出来ること、とても嬉しく思っています。
